Default Cycling: Landis wins case against Armstrong

Interesting article. Towards the end they discuss a bit about some of the ongoing concerns over how “clean” cycling is now.

Floyd Landis, a former teammate of the cyclist’s, just won more than $1 million in a legal case against Armstrong. Here are his thoughts on the suit, cycling, and his onetime rival.

Hockey is just a game the way ice cream is just glucose, love is just a feeling, and sex is just repetitive motion.

i followed cycling back in the Lemond days and found it interesting in large part due to some of the riders of that era and the fact it was likely a cleaner sport then. I remember reading an article about Andy Hampsten and how it seemed like overnight, guys who were not climbers were passing him on climbs that they never had before. He was nearing the end of his career but was still good enough that these guys should never have been able to keep up. At that point it was obvious, if you dont dope, you cant compete. I dont know if this sport will ever be clean again. to quote bubbles from TPB, "its' greeeeeeasy"
