No no, it's leading to The Expanse universe which will ultimately become Moore's Battlestar Galactica universe. And somehow Ed will still be alive (protomolecule/god stuff).

I finally got around to the last episode, and from the ending I can confirm this is true, even if they never get to the point in season 7 where they start to directly tie into the expanse it's still true.

I have found that the trajectory of quality of this show has been steadily upwards.
Yeah...the last few episodes in particular have been just awesome.
