Granlund isn't breaking the franchise goal record...he'll be too busy playing for the Flames.

I would have been happy if Granlund played at a 0.5 point/game pace this season. He's completely shattered my expectations.

I kind of want them to let this team dominate the AHL this season, let the Flames muddle their way through their own mess, get a high draft pick, trade a bunch of guys in the offseason, and then these guys make the Flames roster next year and Calgary surprises the hell out of the rest of the league. Booyah.

Granlund now 3rd in franchise goals for one season...

Granlund is already third in franchise goals in one season. Kolanos holds the record with 30, Jaffray with 25, Granlund with 21 now. #Flames

After tonight, the Heat have 10 games before the trade deadline and 7 games before the Flames play again after the Olympic break.
That's plenty of time for him to pot 10 more goals.

It might not be a bad idea.
I really think a winning culture is a real thing. Look no further than Edmonton to see the opposite in action.

Hopefully the Flames coaching staff and management have plans to visit Abbotsford during the Olympic break. There's a few things they need to see for themselves.
I don't doubt Conroy talks up the boys, but I think Mr. Burke could use the opportunity to take in a few games.
Edit: Damn, they are on a roadtrip the entire Olympic break.

Reinhart back to the box. Seems to be running into penalty issues in the 2nd here.

Tagging along with his brother in some of his training last summer probably helped Ma Granlund a lot. Even if he struggles in the NHL at first, he knows that his brother struggled as well and what he did to improve his skating, strength, endurance, readiness to battle.
No one was particularly high on him in Finland but he's beginning to look like a future NHL player.

And Burke will be in Russia doing whatever it is he's doing with Team USA.

It used to take 6 months for mail to ship from Los Angeles to London.
