JVR keeps on scoring and scoring. His 32nd of the year makes it 1-0 Leafs over Bolts.

And Remenda and Quinn are so happy. Greasers up 5 - 3 on the Hurricanes. No crying tonight.

You know what's funny, I really wanted cheveldayoff to trade for darling and sign him. It looks like that would have been a very poor decision. These backup goaltender is with great stats certainly are a bit of a gamble aren't they? Carolina has to be shaking their heads and hoping he has a bounce back year

It seems a lot of good backups simply struggle with the pressure of being the guy. There was no indication that he would be tire fire bad like this.

Florida up 5-2 over Ottawa with a few minutes left in the 2nd. Vatrano just scored for Florida.

Thank god one of my teams knows how to play down the stretch. Since the all-star break, the Panthers are something like 18-5-3. It's incredibly unfortunate that Columbus has gone on a 9 game winning streak of late, otherwise the Panthers would be sitting comfortably in a playoff spot.

I still think they can get in, but if they don't, it won't be for lack of trying, unlike the Flames.

Goddam it, I'm super pissed that the Flames just folded down the stretch. At least go out with a fight!

Bjugstad scores on a nice feed from Dadonov on a 2 on 1. Panthers now up 6-2.

BTW, this is the 2nd of back to back games for the Panthers on the road. This is after they dominated Montreal from start to finish last night.

In two seasons worth of games coached from Gulutzan, how many times have we come back from a significant deficit? Could probably count them on one hand.

No, this team is going to fold to adversity as long as Gulutzan is at the helm. I'm just hoping they can muster some fight for the hated Ducks and to win game #1000 for Stajan, maybe at least keep things a little interesting.

@PR_NHL: Patrick Sieloff of the @Senators is the first player in NHL history to score a goal in each of his first two career games while playing for a different team in each contest (also April 9, 2016 w/ CGY). #NHLStats #FLAvsOTT https://twitter.com/PR_NHL/status/97...104897/photo/1

All the offensive d-men the Flames have drafted over the years, and Sieloff is the one who scores a goal in his first two NHL games.

Laine got hit by the puck in the ankle. Hobbled off and was helped to the dressing room. Huge loss for Winnipeg if he's out long term.

McCann scores on a deflected shot by McGinn. The "Mc"s hook up to make it 7-2 Panthers. The rout is on, and Ottawa is getting some poor goaltending tonight. Reminds me of the last Hiller/Ramo year we had.

Leafs play a great 40 minutes to build a 3-1 lead, but Bolts stage a major comeback to prevail 4-3 in the end.

Take your pick of which OOT game you might be following,
but one thing is crystal clear from just about any one of them
that I'm watching....the level of 60-minute compete from the
teams that have serious playoff aspirations is in a different
stratosphere from what the Flames have shown the last few weeks.
