So yea, it's very likely we're looking at a wildcard spot if the Flames do get in.
That dream is already over my friend.

Not if they go on an extended winning streak it isn't. Is that likely? Probably not. But they're only 4 points out of 3rd. It ain't over 'til it's over.

14 points in next 10 games is a must.
Actually think its almost too late to worry about OOT. When the teams you are trying to catch only have to play 0.500 to reach 96 points, you know the lights are about to go out on the post-season.

At this point it’s wildcard or nothing.

Nothing short of an ugly tailspin by ANA, SJ, LA or DAL gets us in this year - and the assumes we also go on an extended winning streak.

Anahiem has four more points than us and we play them again. If we win one more game than them, and beat them, we can pass them

I get what you're saying, I do, but I'm getting tired of this whole probabilities thing at this point in the season. The Flames are 3 points out of the last wild card spot, the standings changes every single day and we really only need to be better than two teams above to get in. Over the last 10 games the Stars have collected 2 more points than us, the Avs 4, the Sharks 5, the Kings 6, the Ducks 7. Those numbers are over a 10 game segment, and there are 14-15 games left right now.

If the Flames manage to use the win in Buffalo as a springboard and string a few wins together versus these weaker opponents, and then somehow beat the California teams, which does not feel impossible at all, the standings can turn around lightning fast. We're due for a good run right now after all.

What were the probabilities that the Panthers would be on the bubble or that the Flames and the Blues would be on the outside 10 games ago? Yeah. The damn season is not over yet. The final wild card may very well be up for grabs until the final game of the season. It wouldn't be the first time.

Sorry, but that's a ridiculous statement. The difference between final wild card and divisional spot right now is one point.

Who should we cheer for to win tomorrow when the Stars play the Ducks (aside from obviously no 3 point game)?

Dallas??

The Stars, call me crazy, naive or blind. I'm still gunning for that third place in the division.

Final scores

That was a big loss for the Blues as the Sharkies won 2-0. Jones with the 16 save SHUTOUT. Jake Allen made 34 saves in the loss and was the surprise starter when Carter Hutton was injured in the pregame.

The Hurricanes squeak out a 3-2 reg win in Chicago tostay in the playoff hunt. The Bhawks goalie, JF Berube played well in the loss stopping 37 shots.

Marchand is a pesky stud as he gets the GWG, 3-2 Bruins in reg time over the Flyers. The Lightning went all out in the 1st period against the Rangers, it was 21-5 in shots. The 2nd period was crazy too, 15-15 were the shots and Tampa Bay won 5-3.

Fleury makes 28 saves for the SHUTOUT, the Knights win 4-0. The Jets won 3-2 in reg time over the Devils. Taylor Hall's point streak is over and the Devils miss out on 2 valuable points as the Panthers are now just 3 back of them.
