I would like to unlock my old motorola V635 phone (tied to Rogers right now), so I can use it while travelling (buy a SIM card and use it locally). Any idea how I go about unlocking a cellphone?
Somewhere in Chinatown, Celluland? You can figure out how to online but you need the right tools, cables, and flashing software. You might need to cut open your phone to short out a contact point that might be under a metal shield.
