I think Cilic has had a better career than Del Po but if both players were playing at their peak I would bet on Del Po. Much like Murray and Wawrinka; Murray had a much better career than Wawrinka but if both players were playing at their absolute best I think Wawrinka is the better player.
Better enjoy this Manic Monday because the rumour mill is suggesting it will be the last one ever, middle Sunday will be used for play going forward.
It’s for the best, we could be watching tennis right now on our day off, as opposed to uh “glancing” at scores during work tomorrow. Plus so many big matches crammed into a single day means not getting to pay attention to a lot of them.

1. Needs to serve well - First serve percentage ideally close to 65% - Anything under 60% and it's going to cause too much pressure on his service games
2. Needs to start well - We can't see a repeat performance of the Kyrgios match where FAA was MIA in that opening set
3. Forehand needs to be clicking - Felix needs to minimize the unforced errors off the forehand wing and target the Zverev forehand (which I think is the weaker side on the German)
Can Felix beat Zverev? Sure he can, but the biggest thing is self-belief. He has yet to win a set from the German in three matches, thus key 2 above is paramount. If he can take the opening set (or better yet the opening two sets), doubt will start creeping in and German double faults will soon follow.

Manic Monday is really great for the fans at the grounds though. Because there are so many matches it's a given there will be some quality matches on the outer courts that you can see with just the £27 grounds pass. But yeah it's been overdue for a while now, mostly surprised they haven't done it already to squeeze out another day of show court money.

Holy freaking crap. This is the best I've ever seen Denis play. There is absolutely nothing Bautista Agut, or anyone, can do with this. If he played every set like this one he'd be world #1 in a hurry; this is enough game to take Djokovic down handily.
It's part of what makes him so frustrating... he can do this, but he just doesn't do it consistently.

No doubt, that's the best set of tennis I have ever seen Denis play as he takes the opening set 6-1 over RBA. Appropriate that he's had a real purple patch at Wimbledon.
Give RBA credit though, he has clearly got the message that he needs his A game just to hang in right now and has elevated his level in this second set, with the result that he has at least avoided giving Denis break chances so far. The strategy for him has to be to just battle and hope Denis's level drops, which does happen when he's under pressure.
Still too many double faults from Denis. Just get into the rally, man, he can't hang with you.

Yeeeeeeah... yeesh. You can just see the form crumbling starting with the serve, which takes its toll on the rhythm of the whole game. Then a few errors start creeping into the rallies, and all of a sudden he's no longer in God mode and the opponent isn't on the back foot anymore and has brought his game up.
He's still playing okay, he's hitting some fantastic backhands. Just not near the level of the first set. It's all consistency.

Very loose service game from RBA there and a bit of drama with the umpire (Denis was absolutely correct) and here's his shot. Let's see if he comes through under pressure given what an adventure his last service game was.
EDIT: Terrible time for rain.
EDITEDIT: Fortunately not long and it doesn't take away the momentum. He should be through now. 51% of first serves in is concerning though, and it feels like even less than that.
