During Tanden's first confirmation hearing Tuesday, Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) noted that Tanden “wrote that Susan Collins is the worst, that Tom Cotton is a fraud, that vampires have more heart than Ted Cruz” and called Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell “Moscow Mitch and Voldemort.”
LOL, well she's not wrong. But yeah, I would have picked somebody else.
And wasn't part of Biden's platform trying to get that crap out of politics? It's pure hypocrisy whether you want to whataboutism it away or not.
"Yeah, but Trump did worse" is going to be the "But her emails" of the next four years.
Considering Ted Cruz tried to have them all killed GL finding anyone who doesn't feel the same way about him. Same goes with the other clown shoes. Some republicans have long since gone past the point of no return, there is no working with them or unity.

Yeah, I'm at the stage I always am with these things...This is so compelling. There's no way some Republicans won't finally vote their conscience so as not to look like boot-licking assclowns. Nope.

Except it's not just Republicans she's gone after. She's gone after the progressive wing of the Democratic party with some pretty toxic rhetoric as well. How can you claim to be for unity when your nominee is openly hostile to an entire section of your party?
Keep in mind this is also the woman who said helping out Libya should be contingent on Libya giving the U.S. some of its oil, which is very similar to something Trump said that Democrats (rightfully) excoriated him for.
She's not a good nominee and I hope enough of the Dems vote against her to keep her out.
She also punched/shoved (depending who you believe) a reporter who dared asked Hillary Clinton about her support for the Iraq war when she was campaigning.
