Still voting Smith, had a great season and should improve on his #18 rank last season even if its only by 1 or 2 spots.
Not voting Mangiapane for several votes, dont understand the shiny new toy syndrome. There is no reason to vote Mangiapane this year ahead of Carrol, Kulak, and Agostino

Plus there's the hit. That was a beautiful hit. And it was on an oiler. The hit gives him even more credit to his name.

Mangiapane is a year younger and was already scoring at nearly twice Hunter Smith's pace in the same exact hockey league. He had a "great season" while there is NO reason to vote Mangiapane ahead of x/y/z?

Maybe instead of your definitive ranking, some people think Mangiapane has a better chance of becoming an NHL player?
Carrol was my dark horse and I was a huge fan until I saw him live twice. Lazy and uninspired. Last one back, first one breaking out. Kulak spent a year in the echl, though looked good in his return to the AHL. Agostino's time is almost up, and I don't see where he fits.
Mangiapane has wheels, hands and hockey sense. There's an awful lot to like. That's not "shiny new toy", it's thoughtful selection.

I'm not sure if he's just trolling or not, but I'm excited that troutman gets to vote for someone other than Rafikov for the first time since round 3 when he goes off the board

Nothing random about oiler picks, at least not the 1st overalls.

I used THN for the first 16 rounds, but then I got distracted by my cup rings.

With Rafikov it's probably the KHL or the NHL. I doubt he would play any significant time in the AHL to prove himself. The odds of him ever playing in the NHL is too low for me to vote for him right now. Odds are much higher, imo, that Smith and Agostino will become NHL players.

He's a classic example of the guy that could go from top ten to 22nd back to 13th by next summer.
Had an injury free year, now he needs to improve on it. If he does he'll start moving back up the list.

I voted Agostino. I just think he's Stephane Yelle with a bit more offense. He will be an NHL player. I can understand the Big Rig votes though.

Rafikov is under contract in the KHL, for another year I think. Once that contract is up I think we'll see him come over.

Still think we have 5 or so more guys that have a legitimate chance to be effective NHL players.

If he is spending the whole summer working with Van Astin (as, I believe, was stated during the prospects camp), I think he could definitely be the surprise of training camp and turn some heads this fall.
He's another one who it's important to remember how young he is. He was the second-youngest player in Adirondack last season (behind only Poirier).

Went with Agostino based on the second half of his rookie AHL season. I like the chances of him getting a call-up this year and look forward to seeing if he can carve out a spot for himself.

vote count is down about 15% from previous rounds, but I think I'm going to call it given the margin.
