Anything that gives me behind the curtain stories of one of my favourite hobbies. I’ll cruise through it in a night or a plane ride but for sure one sitting.
Thanks Pike, bein a small market, when I watch this like the hbo road to the winter classics or even the newly announced Amazon following “ten stars in the NHL” series, we always get zip to zero entertainement about our Flames.
This is a book I definitely look forward to reading soon.
In addition to this book, I can't stress enough how lucky we are to have Pike covering the Flames. I have built a disdain for journalism overall (not just sports journalism, but all journalism) because it sure seems like journalistic integrity and accuracy has been replaced with error-filled clickbait 'garbage' out there. Pike is a complete throwback to what journalists used to be, and I really appreciate reading his stuff and having him provide accurate information constantly. I don't think he gets enough accolades for what he does.
