Are those park pictures taken in Adolf von Holzhausen Park by any chance?

One is taken on Zeil and the other is at the end of Zeil. The others were taken in a park along Neue Mainzer. I am not sure what the park was called.

Also, I stayed at the Westin Grand down town Frankfurt. The hotel was really nice and the rooms were great. They have a bunch of these old cars through out the lobby. Was a bit pricey however. I had 2 rye and coke and a coffee in the lounge and it came to 27 Euros. So if anyone stays there you may want to walk across the street to some of the local bars which are much cheaper.
Here was one of the cars.

The Zeil is really quite awesome, did you see the construction of the PalaisQuartier? Just curious how that was coming along...

Hey, you seem to know a lot about Frankfurt. The night of November 11th there was something going on. I was walking in the area off the Zeil and there were a lot of different groups of people just standing around door ways and what not. It almost looked like there were a bunch of groups of Zombies. Also, there was this old square where all these kids were walking around with these home made lanterns. Do you know what that was all about?

Actually I did. And to my suprise, not many people knew what it was or stood for. I transfered in Amsterdam and the crew was from Netherlands, it was a KLM flight. I was talking with one of the crew and the topic of the war came up. So I pointed to my poppy and asked if he knew what it was. He said "Isn't that what the Irish have?" I said no, thats a 4 leaf clover. I told him about the poppy. It was quite suprising that this Dutch fellow didn't know what a poppy was. He new a lot about what the Canadians had done and he said he had gone to a few of the services that happen every year and even talked about war vets that would come over from Canada, but he didn't know what a poppy was. Maybe it was just him. He even told me that they don't have a holiday like we do. Can anyone verify that?
I felt a little out of place when I was the only one walking around with a poppy on but it also made me proud.

Jolinar... Your work sounds neato! Wonder how I get into such an occupation...
Funny how some people think you're a spy, but you couldn't even figure out that your BC import room mate drove off without unplugging cords (until I embarassed you on CP).
Jolinar is an international hippy protest organizer. He works for greenpeace. He "enforces" his companies half witted environmental laws!
Sorry to out you dude.
The above part about him being a dirty greenpeace loser is a lie.

Yes, I work for "PieceGreen" where we try to take all the green space and make it a piece of our oil refinery. I hate greenpeace! Dirty hippy punks.
... No I don't really hate the environment, just Greenpeace.
Jolinar,
Keep the travel updates coming. I am living through you. Good to see ya the other day.
