I think they should reunite the Mangiapane-Jankowski-Hathaway line.

The Flames ARE a top team. And just like any good team, they're gonna lose a few here and there, especially against an insanely stacked team like Tampa, who are quite simply on another level than just about every other team in the league. Might as well just hand them the Cup right now, because honestly, I don't think anybody is gonna beat them. That team is a machine.

Don't forget, the Flames pushed the Lighting to a shootout during their last meeting, and looked pretty damn good doing it. The Flames didn't get here by accident. They're for real. They just need to clean up their defensive game a little bit and get the top line going again. I agree with others here that those two long breaks screwed up their mojo. But I'm fully confident they'll get it back.

I don't think it really matters who's been our best forward because this is a bad team game but Bennett has drawn a pair of penalties and had some good stretches. I do fault him on the Coburn goal though for a couple of reasons.

Lazar played well too and he could take a 4th line spot today without a misstep.

Like I said, they are trying to win games. They should play their best players.

Plus, it's not like the third or fourth lines were the issues tonight.

I love hamonic but he should never be the trigger man in the offensive end.

Top line hasn’t been their best but they sure as hell aren’t the reason the flames are gonna lose this game. Brodie, Backlund, Tkachuk, Rittich, Frolik all with turd games imo. Third line has been much better than the second line post all star break.

I’d love to see some speed added to that second line. Just way too slow and predictable

How does a team spend the preseason in China on a league marketing trip and still end up with one of the worst regular season travel schedules in recent memory?

Hamonic and Kylington could be a full time pairing. Not like Andersson/Hanifin would be a slouching pairing either. Hammer would allow Kylington to explore his offensive prowess more.

If you are putting the lines in blender are you doing it to reward good play, to send a message to the forwards, to get someone going or????

Putting Bennett up there does what?!

It's their own fault. If they don't like it they should relocate.

Good point tonight.

I think Tre has some work to do with this roster and the players need to show up for a full 60 minutes.

When was the last game they played well from puck drop until the horn sounded?

Seriously, pre bye-week, but when?
