Mattson need a SPC from the NHL before he can play in CGY.

Lazar can come up and play. Foo isn;t worth a call up IMO right now if at all, ever. Valimaki will eventually come back. Quine can play right now.

I guess we might as well have a slump now, as long as we get it back together and go on an roll leading into the playoffs. I actually don't mind it if we don't end up first in the west either, as I don't really think we need the added pressure of being favorites.

Time to take a break from hockey.

Getting too invested during a slump just leads to not fun feelings. Hoping for the best. I want to believe they're for real but whatever, it's been a fun few months at least of feeling like a top team. Haven't got to enjoy that kind of success in a long time.

I’m not concerned. We’ve played the 2 best teams in the league (SJ, TB) out of the last 3 and were very unlucky not to beat Vancouver. We’ll learn from the losses.

Pretty confident we’ll be rolling again.
