You maybe didn't mean it that way, but it's a really troubling trend on social and traditional media in recent years to equate truly deranged individuals to angry people on the internet that feel emboldened to kill as many people as possible.
Yes, mentally ill people are likely being pushed to commit violent acts by current political climates, but it's not otherwise normal people and internet trolls, it's still sociopaths and other ill people.
