This thread has got me curious. Do the brothers live in close proximity to each other, hang out every weekend, and vacation together, or do they kind of go their own ways and keep in touch like most siblings.

I hated these two in their playing days because they were damned good, played for a rival and constantly torched the Flames.
Now that they're just run-of-the-mill Vancouver Millionaires they can do what they want, they're probably no weirder than normal Vancouver Millionaires.
I find their private lives to be a little odd for my liking, but thats okay, it affects me not at all and is none of my business.
They are peculiar guys, but not in any bad way really. Further to which, I assume this is a paid position so they're still finding ways of wringing cash out of the Aquilinis which I have to give them credit for.

We have made a lot of fun of the Sedins over the years for various things but I think it's kind of cool to be able to grow up and get old with your best friend as it's a special relationship that just isn't available to most people. They seem like really good people too.

They really do. Very active in their communities, incredible with their charitable donations.
I have identical twin first cousins who no longer speak because their wives don't get along. It's sad to see as they were as inseparable as these two seem to be.
Notwithstanding the twin thing, it is just so weird though. I mean seriously, in what business/world are twins hired in any capacity as a package deal?
I keep seeing the HR scene from Step Brothers... Pan? You said Pan, right?
Edit: Other than porn.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

The Sedins have always been class acts, both on the ice and off.
Their hatred really stemmed from the fact they were spectacular players.

So does Benning and Weisbrod stab them in the back one at a time or both at the same time?

Yeah I have nothing bad to say about them. Seeing 2 twins play together their entire careers, both winning scoring titles one after the other and alternate MVP titles is a pretty spectacular feat in not only hockey, but all of sports. I don't know if any sport will ever see twins pull off the same feat like that for a long time.
My issue with them is more they beat the Flames' ass almost everytime. But I pin that more on the Flames' for sucking than I do on them. Great players to watch in their prime and I'll admit even their very last game, Sedin to Sedin in OT was a treat to watch.
Class acts on and off the ice.

While it is good to see them back with the organization that they spent their careers with, especially given what they as people mean to the team. That said, my big concern is how they will be received if the team continues to flounder. Ultimately, the biggest risk is for them to tarnish their legacy similar to Linden who was in a similar position a few years back and left because of the Aquilini/Benning issues.
These special advisor type of roles rarely mean anything. I mean the Oilers had half of their entire franchise roster as special advisors and all that happened was a serious Chip addiction in the locker room thanks to Messier.
As a GM I would find it slightly creepy to be working with Twins, that outside of their playing experience, I don't think they have any experience in management or scouting or apology.
Benning - "Hey do you smell cabbage"
Weisbrod - "Yeah, did it just get cold in this room"
Benning - "Yeah"
The twins literally glide in on matching Segways.
Benning -"That's not creepy at all"
