I really liked the episode, well put together, Loki is one of the few developed Villian / Anti hero’s and it really pays off here.

I loved how in about 3 seconds and one line they turned the infinity stones into nothing. The 10 year Maguffin has been usurped by the TVA. I also loved the blaming the avengers for breaking the law but that was planned in the timeline whereas his escape was not.

I’m interested in what those timeline resetting devices do. Are they a mass killing device or a time undoing device or just something like the MIB nerolizer. I suspect mass killing device.

My other speculation is that the Loki that Loki is chasing is the same Loki. So the act of letting Loki try to capture himself creates a sequence of events that ends with Loki’s escape. Then he try’s to get revenge against the TVA because at some point Loki will want to go back and save his mother and Owen Wilson : TVA won’t let him.

Good start. So much new world building crammed into one episode. A little awkward we get the old Loki from a decade ago but this was solved with some sped up character development.

Agree with the speculation above the antagonist Loki is a future version. Also am wondering if the multiverse war mentioned hasn’t actually happened yet and is foreshadowing phase 4.

In the comics the Infinity Stones only work in the universe they were spawned in. Basically nothing but nice looking rocks once removed. Even if Loki pocketed a few of them they'd be useless if unless he went back to the exact timeline where they came from, and they weren't exactly labeled.

Pretty funny the Agent just prunes a bunch of the stones like they are nothing.

That was way different than I was expecting, which was a more cookie cutter Marvel story not necessarily a bad thing. Will ponder for a while before I know if I liked it or loved it.

That's better than the best start for which I could have hoped. Fascinating and entertaining villain thrust right into facing their own flaws and defeats. Plus timelines and multiverse potential.

This is the first of the MCU series' I feel I've been hooked on from the beginning. Despite not ever thinking of it, Loki is a fantastic choice for a spin-off series in much the same way was Saul Goodman.

Tom Hiddleston is great.
Owen Wilson is great.
The retro-futuristic aesthetic is great.
DB Cooper is great.

Only disappointment is that Owen Wilson didn't say "Wow!"

I have 100% bought into Loki. I wanted to like Wandavision, but it took a while before I actually liked it. Same with Falcon and the Winter Soldier, to a lesser degree.

But Loki had me almost instantly.

Depends where they go with this. If there turns out to be no nuance it basically means everything the Avengers accomplished is greatly diminished or doesn't matter at all. Neither do your choices, and if you make the wrong ones according to the time gods you get zapped out of existence.

I've watched all three of the Disney+ Marvel shows now, and think this is easily the best of the bunch.

Really like this. Really seems like that put a lot of effort into the aesthetic and tone. Overall very impressive for a tv show.

Super fun, loved the trivia for the infinity stones(mentioned above). I hope the alt Loki is a Lady Loki, fun twist that would be.

I watched the original Avengers again on Tuesday night, and even though I remember everything it was still cool to be able to jump from that show right into Loki. It helped ground my view of him in that movie instead of Endgame and I felt like I was along the ride with the proper Loki.

Owen Wilson made a career with the buddy cop/bromance and he's still got it. Love his deadpan delivery and he really plays off of Hiddleston's Loki.

I was initially confused on why Mobius was trying so hard to understand Loki's motivations. "After Earth, then King of Space?" But with the reveal that a Loki variant is hunting the TVA, it makes sense that it is an interrogation to find out more about why he would be doing this.

Loved the retro cartoon, tieing the Nexus concept in, and warning about the "Madness" of messing with the "Multiverse". Almost seems like this series might lead into Dr Strange 2 more than Wanda did. But it is most likely just the entire Phase 4 theme.

Timelines, multiverses, all seem to be pointing to this being the Kang the Conqueror saga. Makes sense as a follow up to Thanos, and plenty of room for lots messing around with the universe. Even "What if.." fits the whole narrative of this part of the MCU.

I have a feeling that where 6 episodes felt like a good fit for FaWS, I think after 6 episodes of Loki I am going to be wanting more.

I was blown away by the philosophical concepts of the TVA let alone anything else with the episode.

One of the best Pilot's I've ever seen, and this will clearly be one of the best parts of the MCU! Can't wait to see where it goes

Part of me is starting to wonder if the person hunting all the TVA agents isn't Mobius instead of another version of Loki as he claims. I was expecting to see the other Loki's face at the end but why hide it if we all know it's him? He mentioned that Loki was used as a device to help others reach their potential--maybe Mobius is doing the same for Loki? Maybe he's using Loki to take out the TVA? He didn't seem to attached to the status-quo of the TVA either.

Loved episode one. They're gonna have to explain things more in future episodes because the time travel rules need some more explanation to square Oldman Rogers and Past Gamora running around.

I'm not sure who the big bad is... I hope it's the same Loki coming from the future pretending to be a different variant and not an actual different variant. Loki playing 4 dimensional chess sounds funner. I suspect it's not Loki thou... why hide the face otherwise.

I loved it. It felt like an episode of Doctor Who wandered into the movie Brazil, and then ended up in the Marvel universe. Looking forward to a real character arc for Loki, who has such potential. Intelligent, self-aware but also self-loathing, and funny. I think this may end up being the best of the original series.

Disney+ is the only one I know of, although, I'm sure there are "ways" of finding it on the internet without paying for the streaming service.
