That is very sad news.
One of the hockey community's greatest stories and arguably one of the biggest Oiler fans out there. I feel fortunate I was able to follow his story, see him live out his dream and passionately sing the Canadian anthem for his beloved team!
RIP Joey.

For some reason I thought he was much younger. Still much too young for this. RIP Joey

I had the pleasure of meeting Joey years ago. He was related to a midget hockey teammate and came to congratulate us after a big playoff win. He gave us this epic victory speech that just exuded excitement and positivity. RIP.
Joey Moss is the exception that proves E=NG.

All I can get
He was also a locker room attendant for the Edmonton CFL team at one time.
He showed a lot of people, including myself, that Down Syndrome wasn't a barrier to being a contributing member of society.

Very sad to see, but at the same time he had probably had a life with no regrets and a lot of fun.
RIP Joey

I always remember Joey singing his heart out during the anthem in the midst of the Oilers' 2006 run.
VIDEO
Bless him.

One of the few celebrity deaths to bring a tear to my eye. What a human being. RIP Joey.
