Annual player poll results have been released for 2020-21.

Results for some of the questions:

1. Best Goal-Scorer - Matthews
2. Best Defenseman - Hedman
3. Best Goalie - Vasilevsky
4. Most Complete Player - Sid/Bergeron tie
5. 68% of the players polled do not want the same divisions as they were this season.
6. 66% of the players polled would like to see a series-style schedule carried forward.
7. Your Calgary Flames have the 3rd best retro jersey after the Avs (1) and the Kings (2).

So 34 players out of 471 that voted didn't watch the North Division much.

He deserves to be in the top 5 in practically any offensive category, but he is far from a complete player. He isn't even the most complete player on the Oilers.
