People are probably going to lose their minds for that Lanny bobblehead. Especially if they go full caricature on the moustache.

Do they usually just do "first ___ people in the door?"

Should have been a Gio one too.

Need a player representing this era of the Flames - it's representing the 40th anniversary but you don't really have anyone representing the last 10 years.

Been 7 years since Iggy last played here.

Huge oversight imo

Agreed.

Giordano deserves it and deserves to be recognized with the top Flames of all time.

If these aren't available for purchase afterwards (likely) I will be offering money for unopened bobbleheads. Keep me in mind.

It's the five guys with banners in the rafters. From that perspective, it makes sense.

They did bobbleheads for 3 of these guys (Lanny, Vernon, Iggy) 10 years ago for the 30th. It would be nice if they had done some variety this time around.

If they wanted to represent each decade and not repeat themselves, they could have done MacInnis for the 80s; Fleury for the 90s; Kipper for the 00s; and Gio for the 10s. If they wanted 5, they could also have done Johnny or Tkachuk for the 20s.

Didn't they have a Bobblehead run a number of years ago (donated mine to a toy drive)? maybe they found a bunch of boxes left over in a warehouse...that'd explain the lack of new era players.

Yes I have an Iggy and a Peplinski bobble head so this can’t be the first time they’ve done this sort of thing. I don’t really remember when though. The Iggy one has the flag shoulder patches so it has to be somewhat

Maybe the 30th anniversary season

They issued a 5 bobblehead set during the 2009/2010 season, which included Lanny, Vernon, Iggy, Peplinski (?), and Harvey the Hound. They were the full-sized bobbleheads and the boxes (and the base) each had the 30th Anniversary logo. I'm not sure how they distributed those but I do believe season ticket holders received a set at the end of the year.

I suspect these will be the slightly smaller versions that have popped up in recent years (like the Johnny Gaudreau ones they sold in 2017/18 for Kidsport, and the Jon Cornish bobbleheads the Stamps issued for his CFL HOF induction this year -- they gave away 2,000 and also sold them at the game).

I really wish they would reconcile with Theo. His number needs to be retired and he should be automatic with stuff like this

It's funny whenever I see Iggy in the white C. Just ignoring that for most of his career fans were asking for the Flames to wear the jersey that popped up every now and then for specialty games.

Didn't he re-singe some bridges when he was here last? I remember his comments on Gaudreau were... expected and didn't it sit poorly with him when he didn't make the team?

It's entirely possible that this "new light" Theo is still difficult to celebrate

Theo did not help his cause when he was cut during his publicity stunt comeback. Dude just can't keep his yap shut.

As I recall the 30th Anniversary ones went to the first 10,000 in attendance and the entire set went to each account holder as that seasons "gift". I hope they do that again as I already see I'll be missing a couple of these games.
