Auston Matthews charged with disorderly conduct
Simmons believes it will cost him the captaincy of the Leafs.

The incident apparently took place at 2 a.m. on May 26 outside of the condo in which Matthews lives in Scottdale.
The building’s security guard, a woman named Fayola Dothizee, was sitting in her locked vehicle when she was startled by the sound of someone trying to open her car door.
According to the police report “she jumped out of her vehicle to find out who was trying to get in her car … and noticed it was Auston and his friends.
“She confronted them and the response from Auston was they wanted to see what she would do and they believed it would be funny to see how she would respond.”
They thought it was funny.
“Fayola found this very disturbing and (it) put her on edge. Fayola said she’d told Auston and his friends, ‘I am a female, I am a military vet with sever(e) PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).’
“(And) as the friend was speaking to Fayola, she said Auston began to walk away and after he walked some distance, Auston pulled his pants down, bent over and grabbed his butt cheeks.”

The part im having trouble getting my head around is why would they try and enter a vehicle with a woman in it when they had zero reason to do so?
That's simply not acceptable.

Not good for Matthews campaign for the captaincy. Not the worst thing maybe. Tavares is a straight arrow and can probably handle it better anyway.

Ha! No ppl get drunk and make bad choices. He didn't hurt anyone or do anything extreme.
Many ppl moon/mess with security guards! The world is such a sensitive place these days.

Nope, my drunkin brother on his stag night jumped in to a car out front of our hotel. Told the couple to drive him to his hotel as he was to drunk to walk . It was pretty funny and my brother felt bad in the morning, but definitely didnt mean any harm.
The woman is a security guard! Not an 18 year old girl lost in the woods! Christ!

There is ZERO reason someone has to accost a stranger to have a good time. Also, just because you're young doesn't mean you shouldn't act like a professional in public. Dumb dip####s working on the rigs do stuff like this because they know they don't have much of a future. Even if we shouldn't expect young people to behave somewhat adequately in public, I have no idea why someone who gets nearly $12 million dollars a year doesn't have someone around him managing his stupid impulses.
