Voted for Foo. Still has some NHL chance, if his showing in KHL goes well. Though I doubt he comes back to the Flames

Schneider, based on strong AHL stretch and the fact that goalies are weird.

Considered Valiev and Foo here

On a related note, here is how THN has the Flames prospects ranked in their pool guide, with relative position to our votes noted

1. Valimaki (-)
2. Pelletier (+2)
3. Dube (-1)
4. Parsons (+2)
5. Nikolayev (+3)
6. Pospisil (+3)
7. Pettersen (-2)
8. Philips (-1)
9. Zavgorodny (+1)
10. Gawdin (+7)

Kylington wasn't considered a prospect.

Went with Schneider. Only 22 and often goaltenders don't come into their own until they're 24-25.

Valiev's upside at best is as a tweener, an injury call-up or a pressbox popcorn muncher.

I asked myself the question if guys this low in the prospect pool ever turn out. What I found was:

Ferland was 26
Kulak 25
Bouma 21
Brossoit 17
Jooris 35
Hathaway 23
Mangiapane 21

So, the answer is it is reasonable that one or two from the bottom 10 prospects should have an NHL career.

And people thought I overrated Gawdin! 10th sounds about right.
