All I ask for is less game management and more consistency of calls within the game. If a one handed slash is a slash in period one, it should be in period three also. Next game, if the same slash is not a penalty in period one, then it shouldn't be in period three either.
I'm OK with inconsistency from game to game, but I'd like to see more consistency within games.

I think the NBA last 2 minute report is a good start. In games within a goal or less review the last two minutes and show every correct and incorrect call the refs makes.
It’s eyeopening to see the number of calls the refs get correct.
Half of the issue is that if a ref makes 95% correct call and no calls there is probably .5 bad penalties per game and 1 big miss per game.
More transparency in general on how games are called. The perception that the refs are terrible is a bigger problem then the actual refs being terrible.
