For my money, the Pepperidge Farms Soft Baked cookies are some of the best store bought cookies. I think Sausalito or Nantuckets are excellent.
For mindless munching and dipping I like Dad's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip or Chips Ahoy. I was glad to see both included in this.

A man who hasn’t heard of the Pirate Cookie doesn’t appear qualified to populate a cookie bracket.

To be fair, if this were a true ultimate cookie bracket than nothing store bought would even be on the list.

Speaking of homemade, I just realized there isn't even a peanut butter cookie on this list, now I'm really disappointed.

I forgot about how good Peek Freans are. Especially the ones with the fruity center. Need to buy them again.

And oddly enough my daughter made oatmeal cookies this morning. She does so fairly often and always asks how they taste. For years Ive been telling her they’re ok, she’s getting there, and to keep trying.
Eventually she’s going to catch on to me. Until then, I’ll be here eating cookies if you need me.

I just remember eating those at my aunt's house when I was a kid. I had no idea who made them until I saw it at Superstore as an adult. Nice. Yes, my vote goes for that or the gingersnaps. Lol, I have the cookie taste of an old lady.

I’m pretty sure you have to show ID and either be an Aunt or Grandma to buy those.

You’ll find them at the grocery store next to the rock hard 68 year old Christmas candies that come in a porcelain dish and are all stuck together.

So the winner of this contest can go up against the true champion Goodie Rings in the final.

My problem with Goodie Rings (besides the ####ing name) is that the photo on the package looks so good but when you bite into one, it's a big let down. Tastes like chocolate covered sawdust to me.
