This is one thing really throwing me off with that trailer, the CGI is very obvious and distracting. With Fury Road there were so many practical effects done that you didn't even notice the CGI, in this trailer everything looks fake. I really hope the full movie has a little bit more polish to it

I just hope they needed to get a trailer out quick and decided that CGI would do. The actual movie hopefully is low on CGI.

Trailer was a bit CGI heavy compared to Fury Road, but Fury Road is notoriously one of the most difficult shoots ever -- I could see George Miller not really wanting to go through exactly that again. If this was from a new director I might be a bit worried, but I trust Miller to deliver a great film. Also, the movie is still 6 months away -- some of the dodgier looking scenes will certainly be cleaned up in that time.

This may be the movie to break my cinema streak. It's been since the Northman.

Though I have to admit I am not a fan of the fake natty Hemsworth.
