Surprised by the sentiment here....I am glad the Flames didn't get him. The fact that Columbus benched him during the playoffs says everything to me about the guy. I would rather have Frolik and use the Frolik money next summer than Ryan f'n Dzingle....

I think at this point of the offseason..some people just want a new toy. Discussions involving Lucic are even more nauseating...

I think Dzingle is ok, but I think his Sens production isn't likely sustainable on a good team. Probably a nice 3rd liner, which the Flames don't really need.

Edit: I thought he was a winger. As a C, this is decent value, but still not a huge upgrade on the Flames.

Both Hayes and Dzingel got 4th line minutes in the playoffs. Neal had more TOI than either of them!!

Why Hayes got so much? It has to be based on pure poundage. Hayes did not add any truculence against St.L.
