Default Random Thought Thread

Just had a random thought and couldn't think of a place to put it. I searched for a thread like this and noticed there was one from 2008, but it's locked, hence the new one.

Anyway, here's my random thought:

I picture all of you guys having 90s hockey hair.

Oh sweet no one has tried to resurrect this in years, good for you. Think it makes it to 20 posts before being locked?

Randomness is anathema to an orderly society, nobody wants to peruse your random musings.

Get your thoughts together and then present them in an orderly fashion.

More like random questions, but...

I have always wondered why men had somehow evolved to have more nose and ear hair than women. I assume they serve the same purpose in both sexes, so why men would need to have more is odd.

And why are vein patterns on the back of hands so different between each other. They're not even mirrored, they just branch out entirely different.

In a world dictated by laws of mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology there is no randomness, everything happens as the end result of a calculation, a chemical reaction or a law of physics.

Some one or hundreds or thousands of someones is having the exact same random thought, reaction or "fate" as you at this very second.

What's the deal with cars driving around with huge bike racks on their bumper? I see a lot where the license plate is completed hidden, by the bike rack that has no bike on it.

Is it just an ingenious way of never getting an intersection photo radar ticket?

Before I met my now wife, I would sometimes wonder what my wife-to-be was doing at a given moment, where they were, what was going on in their life.

We were able to trace back the first time we crossed paths, as we were both at the Garth Brooks concert in Edmonton in August of 1996. We didn't meet until 2008. We're going again on September 3rd - sort of cool. I guess. maybe.

Sort of like how some cars get meticulously cleaned all over except for the license plate.

Are the red light / speeding cameras real-time? I guess if they spotted an unreadable plate from a speeding car, they could maybe call it in to the police.

They were? Not she was? Are you into polyagous marriages?

It's been a while since I've had hockey hair... Upon further random thought, it's been a while since I've had a hairdo...

At 33, married and with a new born at home, I still can't shake the feeling that I stop maturing at 19 and have been mostly faking it as an adult.

All the responsibilities that go along with being an adult are there, and I'm not a kid, but I wonder if most people in there 30s-40s feel the same way?

Hedkandi’s salons price cuts based on a scale of how skilled the hairdresser is. A mid-range stylist at their salons would typically charge $67 for a woman and $62 for a man. Now the same stylist will cost $67, no matter the client.
I never understood the pricing for haircuts, IMO it should really be based on how complex of a cut you want regardless of gender. Not sure if I would ever pay 67$ for a quick trim anyways.

Why is the term "bonehead" an insult? I mean, it's good to have a skull, right? Shouldn't it be more derogatory to be called a "boneless head"?
