The thing about the Jedi is that they have empathy. You don't have to be able to hurt them, just the people, civilizations, planets, etc. they care about.

I think that's a question, do they have Empathy?
Its funny because in the old republic, they really didn't, they were so willing and eager to fight their force war that billions suffered. You can even argue that this was the case during the Clone Wars. We hear about the Jedi being self less and self sacrificing, but we saw a lot of issues with that.
The Jedi are people, they're flawed. Its funny, because in the Old Republic books and even the games. They Jedi were pretty much jerks. They're idea of being a jedi was to fight the influences of the Sith and the Dark Side no matter the cost.

Looks pretty neat, I'm down for any timeline in the Star Wars era.
They relate it to a knights of the round table feel, I would love to see this. Dive into some Medieval type fantasy story lines. The fantasy aspect of Star Wars has always been the draw for me. I'm not big on space ships, this is the only 'sci-fi' material I even pay attention to.

This is the way to do it. Get some stories out there and then steal the best ones for movies. Like all the other comic book movies.
Yup. Reverse engineering the next wave of films, seems like a pretty good approach.
In the mean time flesh out existing characters/stories on Disney+!

I finally watched Episode 9. If TLJ deserved half a star, this one deserved one star. It was pretty horrible.
I think that the only chance to go forward with the Star Wars franchise on film would be to push the narrative far into the future, and have everything that we know only as myths and legends of the past.
The Skywalker Saga should be like the Arthurian Legend, to anyone in a new film series. Everything should be new and disconnected from anything that exists now.
That's how badly the films are screwed up at this time.

Ahsoka is my favourite of all time, so excited for this.
Good timing with this news drop as she shows up in Clone Wars today

She's probably too old too, but Tiya Sircar is an obvious choice.

Not sure if old news or not, but Alec Guinness' grand daughter had a cameo in Rise of Skywalker:
Quote:
Guinness' granddaughter Sally made a brief appearance as a First Order officer in a scene that included Adam Driver's Kylo Ren. A two-hour documentary that came with the digital release of the final chapter in the Skywalker Saga revealed the cameo, as noted by Nerdist.
I love the extra effort they make to include people like this, and the love that so many people and celebrities have for Star Wars in general.
