Kipper sure seems to be spending a lot of time around the Flames lately.

When I was younger, the Leafs were pretty much the only team I could watch regularly, and Jamie Macoun was by far my favourite. Loved the way he played.

He and Iggy should have penthouse suites atop the new stadium.

That one little act helped cement my fandom

1100 + games, 160 more playoff games. he would have faced 99 more than most in his career
not bad for an undrafted player (the Flames were ninjas at grabbing the collegiate talent back then) who went on to all-rookie team status his first season, 5 plus years in Calgary of +29 or greater, often paired with #2, although in one of his finest plus minus seasons, he and a feller named Baxter paced the way for Calgary

That would be Paul Baxter who once had 400+ penalty minutes in Pittsburg. No one had a better hip check than him.

That includes an entire season lost due to injury caused by a car accident (1987/88). No problem, he came back the following year, played 94 regular season and playoff games and won a freaking Stanley Cup.
