Ward juggling lines.
Looks like Granlund-Olson-Jooris. And Lamb playing defence again.

Olson destroys a Wolf. Big, clean hit at center ice.
Heat going back to the PP as Olson was crosschecked after.

This is a horrific PP by the Heat. They did nothing.

This is not the Heat team I'm used to watching. Wish we could have Orts, Smith, Hanowski, Street and Locke in this one.

Game's basically over now.
I know I'm making excuses, but between the three-in-three and the loss of Locke, Street, Smith and Ortio... pretty sure they were bound to lose these last couple.

This has been the roadtrip from hell. 20 hour travel day, lose your starter to the Flames and then the injury bug hits them like a wrecking ball and they are scrambling to call up guys from Alaska.
Plain and simple, it was time to go home. They were done.

Well put. I'm interested to see what kind of trades Burke has/will pull off to see how it affects the Heat.
I think we're alright in goal with Roy and Dell (excellent couple of performances from Dell this week). It's a matter of replacing Street and Locke if they're going to be out for extended periods of time.

That and it's almost coffee season. Trade deadline is coming up and if it is anything like last year, there will be an injection of Heat players into the lineup for the bulk of March and into April. Need to have some players left to actually play for the Heat.
Have to figure Reinhart, Granlund, Hanowski, Knight and Jooris have earned a look post trade deadline in some capacity. Never mind the tweeners in Jones, Street and Breen. If Olson keeps playing like he is, he might be a long shot look too.
The downside of having a good team: These boys have earned themselves a chance for a look. The roster could get interesting.
