Outplayed them but ran into a hot goalie. Ho-hum, it happens. Move on.

The season is young, plenty of time to find what works.
Should give Shore a shot on the Monahan/Gaudreau line.

A team that has struggled to score all year... couldn't score.

Flames probably the better team, but Bishop decided to go god mode. f'er.
It's funny how we discussed all this time before and at the trade deadline about getting a top line scorer, but we ended up not getting anyone like that and then we end up getting shutout the game after the deadline... sigh.
Better get a win tomorrow.
I'll end on this note:

Two pretty bad goals from Gillies vs maybe the best effort we’ve seen from a goalie vs the Flames this season.

That is why Dallas spent $5 million per on a starting goalie. They won the goalie battle and some nights that is the only battle you need to win.

Bishop looked unbeatable tonight.
Hopefully we get some out of town help and bounce back next game.

Not that upset... nothing you can do running into a smith like performance
Wasn’t happy about Stewart on the first line (tonight, not in general or later on)
The 5-3 and 6-4 were brutally simple and could have changed the final results
Other than that, all the special teams bogged the game down.

Far too many stupid penalties on the road. Dougie, Hathaway, Stone, and Bennett all with brain dead plays

Meh...can't win 'em all. Flames played a terrific game for the most part.
Bishop and special teams were the difference.
Just gotta move on and hopefully get the 2 points tomorrow in Denver.
