The police released a video from inside the two police units involved in the situation we were discussing yesterday. The first one looks like a cruiser, the second was the suv in the video we saw before. Unfortunately there is no sound in the second video.

Doesn't look like the cops drove into a bad situation after all. The crowd was moving along and started to surround. Lots of things to take out of it.

They should all be fired and then rehired based on record, recruitment standards and training. Don't watch it if you have sensitive ears....

NSFW!
Note this is the Buffalo PD, the exact same force that violently pushed down that old man a few weeks ago. Even now, when they KNOW there's a spotlight on them, when they KNOW they're being recorded, they still harass and intimidate people who have done nothing wrong. How are they so stupid? If the had any brains whatsoever one would think they'd have enough sense to be on their best behaviour and do everything by the book at least for a few weeks until this blows over, but they just can't help themselves.

Suspended without pay pending an investigation. That's a good start, but it really should be grounds for immediate termination. Can you name literally any job where you could, while wearing the uniform of your employer, call a member of the public a "disrespectful little f--ing c---" on video and not get fired? Why should it be any different for police?

Like that ?? It may not be 100% of the force like that but it is the culture to behave in such manner. The majority of police do act like that . It's anecdotal but my step dad was RCMP. They act like this to intimidate. The countless stories told around the dinner table dude....
The #### I heard ... the abuse I suffered at this mans hands physically then when they were off shift he would laugh that I was a ##### with other officers was discusting. I was a person he was involved with on a personal level and he would tell stories about 'discipline " and he and they would laugh about me crying and I must be a F÷ggot to cry about that "little" of physical "correction".

This isnt a few bad apples. Its the whole damn system period. They are trained to be gang members. Be scared and intimidate. Your the law . You don't enforce laws you are the law. We have your backs and the layers have your back. Go out there and protect the money interests full stop.

When my mother finally divorced him he eneded up in jail after multiple times breaking a restraing order for intimatation and property destruction. Which he and 2 other cops perpatrated.

I think our Twitter embed is broken but:

"Martin Gugino, the 75-year-old protester who was shoved by riot police in Buffalo, N.Y., earlier this month, causing him to fall backward and fracture his skull, has been released from the hospital after nearly 4 weeks."

Police unions. Fraternal order of police. Blue wall of silence.

A potpourri of systems that enable corruption and cronyism.

I think it should be different for police. When cops break the public trust it's a lot worse then when a civilian does. There should be much harsher penalties for cops when they break the law. I suppose getting "suspended without pay" is fair but this guy should also have been charged with some criminal statute. If I go get into a cop's face like that and call him an f'ing c I'd be charged for sure. It should be twice the charge when cops do it.

How is that breaking the law again? Calling someone a c*** isn't against the law as far as I'm aware.

And no, I don't think a cop can charge you for calling him bad words. It happens quite a bit.

I just looked it up and it appears to vary state by state and can be construed as "disorderly conduct" if it's severe, however, the officer would have to make a clear case for the arrest with corroborating reports from others on the incident.

For the record, his conduct is entirely inappropriate, and he deserves a reprimand, but I don't see a crime here.

It's for sure assault when he bumps into her. It's the oldest cop trick in the book. Walk up to someone and initiate contact then arrest them for assault on a police officer. He actually does contact her. That's 100% indictable in Canada.

Also when you call someone an f'ing c like that is definitely trying to start a fight so whatever statute represents disorderly conduct or causing a disturbance applies to that jurisdiction.

I wouldn't go so far as to suggest uttering threats but he does ask her where she works and what would happen if he came there. That sounds like harassment to me and something police would happily charge you with in reversed rolls.

That's all you have to do really is reverse rolls and you'll see why you're still somewhat blind to what cops get away with. Walk up to the next cop you see, bump into him, stand an inch from his face and call him an f'ing c. Then threaten to stalk him at his office. It's a super easy test to administer. I think it's also a necessary one to truly understand what law is and how it can be abused.

That is going to be a hefty hospital bill.

I feel like the billionaire class living in constant fear of the paranoia of the lower classes would fix a lot of the fundamental problems america faces.

Live streaming of Stonewall Jackson coming down in Richmond, VA.

https://www.nbc12.com/2020/07/01/may...erate-statues/

The mayor quickly moved to remove them immediately today and avoid any drawn out court proceedings. They are a substantial part of Richmond's landscape. I never thought I'd see the day .

The funny thing is that even Robert E. Lee was against putting up statues for the losing side.
