Stoner signing incoming?? If Vali is waiver bound no doubt he’ll get claimed which is fine, he needs a fresh start it’s just sad to see how far he’s fallen off his draft pedigree.

I'd be shocked if someone claimed Valimaki if he goes through waivers.

Maybe after Valimaki clears waivers. Don't think anyone is going to keep him up with the NHL team right now.

It’s probably my bewilderment that it’s come to him hitting the waiver wire that makes me think he’ll get claimed. The sad truth is he’s a better bet then much of the depth on Edm which is why I think they’d put a claim in; but you’re both most likely right that he’d clear.

His cap hit is just too high for how he’s currently performing. It’s greatly disappointing, and I blame injury problems. It sucks, I’ve always liked the kid. Liked how much emotion he showed in the world juniors about how proud he was of how his team performed.

My dream is Puljujarvi for Valimaki. Swapping Finns. Despite other opinions of the Player, I think Puljujarvi would blossom into his projected staus here in the Flaming C.

Vancouver maybe. It is pretty sad when none of these young guys could push a guy like Ritchie or lewis out. The drafting and developing going forward needs to get quite a bit better. We need more INTERNAL PROMOTIONS. This is not on Darryl this is more on the young guys and on management. The NHL is not a development league. You need to be ready to contribute right away and these guys are not.
