Garbage play by the Huskies running up that score with a TD instead of going into victory formation and now all hell breaks loose on the ensuing kick-off.

Oh well, Western will probably destroy the Huskies next weekend (and would likely have done the same to the Dinos if they would have won this game).

Well, they're from Saskatchewan, I'm not surprise teams from that province have no class.

Yeah, the Flames have better win tonight to ease the pain. Oh, and the Bombers better destroy the Riders tomorrow.

wasted season. When you go through the regular season like they did and then get you're a%%es kicked in the Hardy Cup, that's on the coaches.

I don't know CC, how do you prepare for your QB throwing four interceptions (it should have been five) and fumbles? Dinos defense was not very good today either, but turnovers were the killer today.

QB's mostly throw picks because of preparation and understanding. There are picks because the QB doesn't react well to pressure for example or the whole shyte happens.
But if I'm looking at a 4 pick game, I'm looking at the formations, motions and routes that my OC is calling against the defense and asking my OC what he's seeing from the defense.
The Huskies were just plain better prepared, and that's the mouse trap of having a outstanding season is a certain amount of laziness creeps into your preparation and game planning and a certain amount of arrogance.

Lol Last year during the regular season the Dinos passed for a 25 yard or so TD in the last minute in a 51 to 28 win.Scott Flory likely remembered that.

Now I don't know how that works in Usport, but are total points the tie breaker in who make the playoff? I know in the nineties, when Stamps would win with ease, and people are complaining Stamps running up the scores, but when the total points are the tie breaker, how can you blame them? However, during a one and done playoff game, do you need to run up the score?

Exactly midnightowl - Regular season where point differential could be used as a tie-breaker is totally different from a playoff game. I'm sure the Huskies kicker appreciated Flory's decision on the ensuing kick-off.

Looks like Western and Laval will meet for the Vanier Cup again.

Laval is up 14-0 early on St FX. It’s probably over

Laval up 39-0 heading into the half. It could be a lot worse if not for two Laval turnovers inside the St FX red zone.

Something has to change (some kind of playoff format is needed), the AUS champion should not get an automatic berth in a national semi-final only to get demolished. It's not good for the kids or the game.

AUS is weak no doubt, but Laval and Western are on an entirely different tier than anyone else in U Sports this year, so I’m not sure this result would be too different if it were a different opponent. Montreal is probably the next closest to the top two.
Does Hugo Richard get a CFL look?
Hope the Huskies give Western a game

I don't know, Montreal gave Laval all they could handle (Laval ended up winning all of the games between the two teams), but they were all very close games. Western looks like a juggernaut though, I don't give the Huskies much of a chance today.
As for Hugo Richard, I don't like his chances at being a CFL QB, he will likely have to change positions if he wants to be a full-time regular in the CFL.

Great start for the Huskies and if Merchant is injured, that changes everything.

Huskies OL dominates their opening drive and Sask up 7-0 early.
Marchant took a big hit on Western’s second play and hobbled off. Something to watch as the game goes on

Merchant is back in, but he looks shaky and Lokombo should have had a pick-six.
