Default Johnny on the verge of career P/PG

7pts in 5gp so far. 394 in 399 for his career. I’m pretty sure the last career P/PG player for us was another little feller named Theo.

Second interesting thing is the jersey numbers of the leaders of our last eras:

Theo era: #14
Iggy era: #12
Johnny era: #13

Not exactly the meatiest thread topic in history, but it’s the morning after a blowout, and it’s all I got.

That’s a great idea! Brilliant! That’s amazing, everything you just said there was great. I mean, except for that part in the middle about trading him to Pittsburgh so he can play in their arena. Other than that part, everything you said was brilliant! Let’s do it! Let’s go with your idea. We’ll do everything you just said, again except for that part in the middle. We’ll leave that part out. Not fond of that part, but everything else is definitely a go.

He will play more often in PPG arena soon. When he’s a member of the Flyers.

Didn't Johnny get to the PPG mark last year?

Before he slowed down in March/April.

The discussion is about career PPG.

And yes, he was over for a while last year before slipping just under during the last few weeks

Yes, he was also career PPG after his first game. Seems odd to concern one's self with a sine curve.

That sounds boring, but no. Where he's at today is relevant, because today is today. It looks like the point of the OP was to point out how many points he needs to be PPG in the current timeline.

To arbitrarily pick points in time back along his 5 full and 2 partial seasons where he was below PPG is just as significant as pointing out the dates, times, and temperatures when he was above PPG.

Since joining the league, he is 7th in points, and 8th in points/game.

Playing on a team with a (mostly) useless powerplay, and average at best right wingers (Hudler/Lindholm excepted). He's elite, and badly underappreciated.

If the PP is (mostly) useless, shouldn’t he be at least partly responsible for that?
