That's why I wasn't too upset Battlefield got pushed back to November. I knew I wouldn't be touching it with RDR coming out too.

I work out of town half the year, like I will be the coming months. PS4 I bring with me to hotels, so I'll get RDR for that, and Assassin's Creed and Battlefield on PC to play when I'm at home

I’m the absolute furthest thing from a Marvel fanboy. In fact, I think most of the MCU movies suck. But that Spider-Man game could be one of the best I’ve ever played. Finished the story last night and it almost brought me to tears. Brilliant game.

I'll often end up juggling three or four games at once. Currently: NHL 19, Octopath Traveler, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. And I just beat a replay of Final Fantasy X. All it really means is that games like Octopath take me a good 2-3 months to beat since I don't have time or desire to play eight hours a day for a week to clear it out.

I've been multitasking with Octopath Traveller and Hollow Knight lately. I like having different genres to switch between whether its platformers, shooters, RPGs or sports. I dont think I could do two of the same genre at the same time though.

About halfway done with my second playthrough of spider man and I keep waiting for the Microsoft paper clip to pop up.

“You look like you’re having fun, would you like to play an MJ mission?”

Yeah the MJ/Miles stealth missions were definitely the low-light of an otherwise great game. I kind of get the idea of it, but when we're this ultra empowered superhero with incredible mobility and strength and abilities for 90% of the game, those sections are definitely a drag. Same with the 'normal Peter' missions where you have to wait through some long loading screens just to wander around the homeless shelter looking for a place to trigger a cut scene -- just the cut scene would've been fine.

Just powered through the Valkyria Chronicles 4 demo on Switch. I think I'm gonna pick it up on Steam, the first game was top-notch and I liked the second one too (never played the third).

Been playing some older games since I picked subscribed to Origin Access. Wasteland 2 is an absolute gem and I reccomend it to everyone. For anyone that doesn't know, the Fallout series was a successor to the original Wasteland, Wasteland 2 is done in the same style as Wasteland and the original two Fallout games before they became shooters. I'm having an absolute blast, it's a newer game that plays like an old school RPG

Finally got around to starting to play Middle Earth: Shadow of War, since I've been sitting on it to play it at 4K with everything on.

Gotta say, the game is basically Shadow of Mordor +++ with oodles of content, amazing graphics and an engaging gameplay that makes my thumbs hurt.

Really excited to try some of the expansion content as well.

FYI, Last of Us Remastered is on sale in the PS store for $10 ($8 if you're a PS+ subscriber). Haven't played it since it first came out on the PS3, really enjoying going through it again with the updated graphics

Google seems to be serious about this streaming games bus. You can sign up to beta test AC: Odyssey.

Interestingly, Japanese gamers will be able to stream AC:O on their Switches too. But not related to Google's plans.

Yeah that sucks but I am excited about the potential for this service. They're claiming they can get 1080p at 60fps which would be better than the PS4 Pro, wouldn't it?

Spider-man is my new favourite game ever. I have never been as hooked on a game and it is the only open world game I have bothered to get 100% completion. I might even try to platinum.

It isn't perfect. The story has issues, the open world has nothing special or innovative, and there are some dull repetitive tasks but overall the full package is a brilliant game which is so much fun to play. The web swinging is the best way to travel ever and the huge variety of suits, gadgets and powers adds a ton of variety. The story is a Spidey fan's wet dream with most of your favourites villains and side kicks present and a load of easter eggs to be found. They absolutely nailed the character of Spider-Man/Parker and this has to be one of the best adaptations in any form. I also found the voice acting to be top notch which really added to the emotional weight of the story. Yep I cried at the end.

Also, another awesome thing was that this was the first game my 2 year old daughter showed interest in. She first started yelling "Monkey" so I had to explain that no it is Spider-Man. She now loves Spider-Man and gets super excited and yells it out whenever she sees an image of him.

Well done Insomniac! I can't wait for the expansion pack and am very much looking forward to what they will do with a sequel.

Yeah I'm liking it, but on PC it's hard to get the controls mapped to my liking. Are you on xbox?

Also, Dirt Rally 2.0 has been announced.. so excited. Dirt Rally has been my fav game of the decade:
