It was a dirtbag move by Thompson to hit him so late, but Yonkman came flying in after the refs were trying to separate players and absolutely dropped the guy. Hopefully not a suspension and I'm sure the rest of the Flames appreciate him making sure it didn't go unanswered.

I was at the game today. Even game by both. Albany Had chances . Fun to watch Gillies and Janssen go at it . Ortio was good as was Kinkaid. I was on the side of the rink and at the end where Albany scored. Should have been a good goal. They didn't look at it tho. On till the next game. Wed vs Hamilton.

See, if Gillies only fought like this, I'd be fine with him on the team. Both combatants were willing and it was a clean fight. There was respect and fighter's code and all that.
