I think Poirier will stay at least for a while. So far the callups have had a healthy amount of pro hockey experience. Howver, if our top 6 gets hit massively with injuries I could see him on the NHL Flames.
Ideally for me he stays until Bennett gets the conditioning stint and then after some insane chemistry on the ice, both get the callup later in the season.
Gaudreau, Glencross probably stay in the top 6 with Monahan and Granlund as 1c 2c. I could see Byron being assigned to 3rd line with Bennett and Poirier as an insanely fast, skilled scoring line to deploy against weaker 3rd/4th line talent.
Byron - Bennett - Poirier isn't a line... it's a damn hit squad

I hope he stays in ADK for awhile too, not just for the team but the fact he is just in his first pro season as well as coming off major surgery/injury and I don't see the need to rush him. Let's get a good AHL season under him, get used to playing in a men's league (since his experience is all QMJHL) before bringing him up to the NHL. I'm sure he will be an NHL'er and do well, but we have zero reason to rush him unless the NHL absolutely needs him. And that should be after a few injuries and a few call-ups before him.
I think this management group in Calgary now is using a little more discretion with players though. We aren't likely to see a repeat of Baertschi or Horak (or how many other players in Calgary's past) where players were brought up to play in the NHL bypassing the AHL or having limited time and being un-prepared physically to play in the league and stalling their development. Both those players, if left in the AHL for a year or two, probably different stories about their place on the team. I think that lesson has been drilled home now and this management group is going to take a more patient approach.

Vause sure has had a great start, hope he can keep it up. A nice surprise for sure
Kudos to Ryan Huska and the coaching staff. The way this team has adjusted to all the NHL call ups is very impressive and it seems Huska has really settled at the pro level by now. It's great to see that the team can go on such a winning streak despite losing their best forwards to Calgary! Have to imagine that Poirier gets a chance in the NHL really soon too and personally I'd love to see Hanowski, Arnold and maybe a couple others get a shot at some point in the season as well.
Also it's great news that Ortio seems to get his groove back. Over the last 5 games, he has a 1.80 GAA and .941% svs.
