That's a bit better, Stamkos did OK but the other two big boys Tavaras and Daddy Mac were moved to the 2nd line and were the difference in this one. Lots of shots and an encouraging sign that we got the win with brand new lines.

3 Stars
1 - Nathan MacKinnon (SAN)
2 - John Tavares (SAN)
3 - Chris Kreider (SAN)

Moved into 6th in the conference with the win and still up to 4 games in hand on many teams around us but now get 3 days off...strange schedule for the Sharks but it's working in our favour right now.

I'll take the win against a big Western rival. MAF continues to be outstanding stopping all but one of the 32 shots he faced.

Ugh. We will take the point and move on. Backstrom with a team leading -3.

Stalock comes in and ####es the bed, but we hold on for a loser point.

Two in a row for Toronto. Can we stretch it to a season-high three?

MAF numbers since he got here. 20 games played 2.13 GAA .927 svpct 3 shutouts.

Clearly his diet of feasting on the blood of innocents is paying off in spades.
