Well you said that she'd probably do well, and that hasn't been the case. Wrong thread for this, but she's brutal.

What I meant was she'd do well in the election, which she did.

Everyone glossed over this part but how can you not understand this metaphor? You're using it improperly here and I don't understand how one could not grasp the proper use of these terms.

Carrots are rewards, sticks are punishments. Its a metaphor for a donkey and a cart.

There is no reward that the Premier can offer to the federal government... also I fail to see a threat she offers them.

EDIT: WAIT I understand. You think the Premier is the donkey. I agree.

The carrot is her ability to play nice if there is an open dialogue with the Feds.
What Alberta is doing is a very public and embarrassing open defiance to the Liberals.

You liking some other poster as a defence is hardly triggering.

You think that orders of government disagreeing creates embarrassment for governments? You really are just a cut rate authoritarian moron.

I agree with you, she is definitely embarrassing.

Can someone give me an example of a Con-run Alberta government in the last 40 years that played nice with the Feds?

No? They all pull the same pseudo-isolationist posturing without actually getting anything done for the province?

I am sure Liberal MP’s in Ontario and Quebec are quite concerned that it may appear that Justin Trudeau is fighting with Danielle Smith. That fact alone is so embarrassing that they may lose their seats. PP just needs to close the deal by running ads in Ontario highlighting his close relationship with Danielle Smith.

That's basically a whataboutism.

Their policy on renewables is absurd. That doesn't mean they should enact a similarly absurd policy on the oilsands, it means they should cancel the absurd policy on renewables.

What are you trying to say, renewable energy and the oil and gas economy are not in opposition to one another?

Crazy talk I refuse to believe it.
