Man, I know Dreams is a bit of a weird thing that people don't really get, and 99% of the stuff on it is super lame. But then look at what some people are doing with it:
I can't even fathom the amount of work and visual trickery that's gone in to this.
Kind of an underrated general audience game by the makers of Ratchet & Clank. I enjoyed it.
Yeah it's a really cool game that got overlooked. I just feel if a guy that only plays sports games is looking for something, yes there are so many generic Ubisoft open world and similar titles one can recommend that he'll play and enjoy and move on back to sports games once we're allowed back outside. Why not go for something a little bit crazy, with a little bit of style and love and passion poured in to it from the devs?
Assassin's Creed Part 7 or Watch Dogs aren't going to give someone a sudden revelation about the rest of the video game world. But maybe Sunset Overdrive will get him a little more interested in what else is out there.
Due to work the GF and I are separated for a month. Looking for something we can play together online.
Requirements:
- Ability to run on an older PC (or Mac). Not a new gaming rig.
- Short games - something we can play for 30 mins at a time.
- Quick learning curve
Open to pretty much any genre, just looking for something easy and fun. TIA.
So I re installed WOW, noticed that the current expansion is still full price, but the other expansion is due out in '2020'. Anyone have any clue on an approximate drop date on that one? I hate to pay full price for this level to 120 then have the new expansion drop in a month.

So I've talked about Empire at war mods, the Awakening of the Rebellion 2.8 dropped today, and it completely changes the ground battles and space battles and overall strategy. With a new armor system, a improved overall AI that includes enemy rampages where they target a world that you might be weak at and rip through your other planets to get to it. The ground battles looks beautiful and you actually have to have a strategy.
In space you can't simply bull rush you have to understand what your ships do and how they work or you'll lose in a hurry.
Also in terms of economics and base building its amazing. This makes Empire at war a whole new game. You have to dedicate some time to winning with multiple factions Black Sun Empire and Rebellion the map is huge.

This summer seems pretty likely based on their current timelines.

Perfect thanks no way i'll be playing in the summer lol.
I reactivated and ran around, turns out I've missed two expansions I guess, Legion and the last one. So I just spent some time leveling. Still such a fun game. I haven't bought the new expansion yet, not sure if I will. Might just get my fix from leveling a few toons from 100-110.. either way still a great game.

Mount and blade bannerlord finally came out in early access today after 10 years since its predecessor mount and blade warband which is one of the best games I have ever played
Riverbond! Honestly you'll both love this game. Very easy and simple to play. It's basically a simplified dungeon crawler with funny characters and silly weapons.
Easy to play and fun for coop.
Wow my kid loves this game. Great recommendation!

It's more the point of having to place a new order, pay in full, then later you can call in and get the original deposit or partial payment refunded. The nature of the email makes it very clear that there is some serious segregation between the warehouse/online storefront and the brick and mortar business. To the point that they may as well be two different companies. That's the kind of inefficiency that only exacerbates the challenges EB/Gamestop is facing as a retailer of a dying media.
Also a game I've spent too much time in is kenshi indy game that is amazing totally sandbox a game that doesnt hold your hand at all no story dropped in the middle of an apocalyptic wasteland you decide what you do you can start a town be a lone wanderer or trader be a thief be a farmer get taken by slavers or attacked by cannibals who tie you up and eat you or your party members right in front of you. Lose an arm in battle that's ok you can buy robotic limbs it truly is a hidden gem. It is for sale on steam but I believe their web page has a free demo to play
