I'm really struggling with whether or not to buy this right away... Knowing that i'll be dropping a tonne of $$$$ for a new console in November, it's hard to justify dropping $60 on a game I'll most likely only be playing for a couple months. I have to assume that Rockstar will port it over to Xbox One & PS4 in the not too distant future, and when they do I'll get a lot more playing time out of it. But it just looks so damn good, how can I possibly say no... This may be the rare occasion where I'll just have to suck it up and buy it on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Seems like I'll definitely get my $120 worth...

For what it's worth, despite Amazon Germany posting "leaks" of PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA V...Rockstar Games is emphatic that they wll NOT be making any version, porting or otherwise for these devices.
They stated they spent too much time as it is to make them for the PS3 and Xbox 360...they haven't been as emphatic about PC so that will remain to be seen.
But if you're worried about them creating a version for the new-gen devices...I'd say at the rate they're going at right now, don't be, and get one for your PS3/Xbox 360.

The only reason I think it MAY make its way to next gen is GTA Online. It sounds like R* is really trying to make this a long-term project where they keep adding new cities to it, they've said their goal is to eventually make the world. So with that in mind, I can't imagine they'd keep updating it just to the previous gen systems, as in a year or two its going to look pretty bad in comparison.
The GTA guys at CVG (who are bar none the best to follow for V news, and have been bang on for many predictions, including being eerily accurate on locations for the now leaked map) are convinced it'll make its way to next gen too. But ya, I wouldn't wait it out for next gen if I were you. It probably wouldn't be for awhile, at least a year anyway.
The photo was taken from at an EBGames store in Australia, taking pre-orders for PC editions. Rockstar ships the game, posters and other marketing materials a few weeks before release. So with the shipment of the games, the store must have received this unannounced edition and put it up mistakenly.

When I went to EBgames last weekend some guy pre ordered both call of duty ghosts on 360 and for Xbox one even though the Xbox one version comes out two weeks later.
So from a "My Blaine County" tourism ad in GTA V, it looks like the voice of the Conservative radio talk station is going to be Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down), as Duane Earl.
After seeing that GTA V map leak on the internets, it appears its surprisingly going to be roughly 2/3rds rural area. As a huge RDR fan, I'm excited to see the advancements made to the topography in the 3+ years since its release. They did an amazing job with it in that game.

Despite the inclusion of a bunch of flying (hopefully they have refined the controls and mechanics) this is a can't miss game. Pretty excited about tomorrow.

Digital Foundry, which has access to the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto 5, has offered an explanation for Rockstar's recommendation against installing the "play" disc.
"Rockstar recommends that you shouldn't install the GTA5 play disc on Xbox 360 and it's sound advice," Digital Foundry chief Richard Leadbetter said.
