My guess is he’s not glued to social media at this time. If someone’s child is kidnapped, they are probably more concerned with getting them back than providing coworkers and viewers timely updates.
That said, I think the first IG post was oddly worded.

I hope not but if it’s a kidnapping with a ransom note, maybe it’s less about an Amber Alert and more about trying to “negotiate” with the kidnappers? Which would explain why they still think she’s alive and that someone has her but they don’t know who or where?
Geez, however way you slice it this is just awful to think about...

There is no good thing about this until that baby is safe. Whoever the unstable person is that decided to take a 1 month old baby away from someone is gonna get wrecked regardless of outcome.

His ex-wife is also not Oakland's mother. A lot of internet peeps made a very incorrect assumption and started harassing her.
