Pacific lose to HFX and Forge lose to Valour today. That bails out Cavalry's lack of a result on Saturday. If Cavalry defeat York on Thursday they have all but clinched a playoff spot, as they'll be 9 points up on 5th place York with 5 games left.

I watched William Akio score the goal of the year for Valour vs Forge today. I can't help but think, why didn't Tommy sign him for Cavalry? He's a Calgary guy, his brother even plays for Cavalry. He has great speed, good technique, good goal scorer, the perfect 2nd option to Mason and way better than a bum like Novak...

Every time the 960 guys talk about the Cavs, they're gushing about them and how much fun the games are. Always encouraging their listeners to get out to a Cavs game, it's unlike any other sporting experience in Calgary. Great stuff.
Mason Trafford was on 960 at the end of August, saying how much fun it is to play for the Cavs, how great the pitch / stadium is, and how much the international Cavs players and even opposing players really love to play here, how much they love the atmosphere, love the fans and love the city. Info like that is always super awesome to hear.

I am hoping we see some Flames players wearing some Cavs gear during interviews. Occasionally you see them in Stamps stuff, and I know they are affiliated, but it would be great exposure.

I'm not going to boo him. He was a terrific piece for this team and is a quality player overall. That said, I hope he has a terrible game and the Cavs pick him apart tonight, but aside from that, I think we should take the high road and cheer him when it's appropriate to do so. He gave us many awesome moments, we can show that class on our end.

I feel the same way. He was an excellent player for us and though it was disappointing how he left he was a great player and ambassador for the club in his time here

Given the way Zator left, I think there will be some that boo him. Don't think it will be overwhelming majority or anything. I've heard some of the backstory around how he left and it didn't really sit too well with me. Were I at the game tonight I wouldn't be booing him, but I would definitely be chirping him.
Niko, on the other hand, everyone understands why he left and still holds him in high regard. Also worthy of chirping though, particularly since he left to be a #1 and ended up being a backup yet again.
