That was far too close for a match they were solidly in control of at halftime. Showed resilience by getting the winner and hopefully more goals will start to flow. Lots of players need to be better out there. I called him out at the end of the first half but Loturi was one of the better players in the second half. Tenacious on the ball and covered a lot of ground
Hope Selemani and Trafford’s injuries aren’t anything serious.

Lol, I was gonna ask of that was Edmonton's best attendance of the season . They must have done a youth club promotion or something what with all the kids running around in the stands.
I dont wish bad attendance on any CPL club though, this league needs as many eyeballs and butts in seats as it can get but man is Edmonton ever embarrassing.

The league made a bunch of schedule changes to accommodate Canadian Championship and CONCACAF League. Playoffs are set with the semifinals going on Nov 20/21 and the final on Nov 27/28.
For Cavalry games, the Nov 6 game against Pacific is now on Nov 7 and the away game against Forge is now on Nov 16.
Looking forward to a proper season next year where the schedule doesn't change. Hard to keep up.

Hard to keep up and both of those weeks at the end of November could be ridiculously cold (if we're in it). It's too bad, but if we're really at -20, it would keep a lot of people away.

Schedule changes just make us a proper league. Fairly common in other countries for cup conflicts, matches selected for TV, etc. Norwich once even moved their derby fixture vs. Ipswich to an earlier kickoff to limit pre-match drinking at the advice of local police.
But I know exactly what you're saying - this season is very compressed with many mid-week matches already, and late November is a real gamble in most Canadian cities, except for Victoria.

CMNT vs. Mexico Nov 12, Costa Rica Nov 16 at Commonwealth Stadium

Yeah and I might still try to make it there for one of those games. To me, that's a little different. I know that with Covid and such it's different this year, so I hope that this is a one-off issue with games approaching December.
Before COVID the 2020 season was supposed to end October 11, then 2 weeks of playoffs. Games going into late November is purely a result of trying to jam a full season into a significantly shortened window.

I am looking at heading to the game this saturday. I havent been before. I would love some opinions on seating. Whats the midfield patio like, by 103? Any good bang-for-your-buck options?

You want to be in the South stands, and that’s really it. I’d give a look to the southernmost section of the grandstand (109), but as you get further away from the south stands, the atmosphere isn’t the same. If 103 is where I think it is, it’s pretty far from the pitch, and the atmosphere probably isn’t great.
Although, I suppose it does depend on what you go for. I’m all about the chanting/singing and things like that.
ETA: have a look at the tickets Howie has for sale in the ticket exchange, as those might be a great option!
