Pretty stoked to hear about “Old Montréal” finally.
You can tell that these songs were from an era when the just rocked out. Much more of a UP to Here feel to them vs what was released on Road Apples. I can understand why they were cut from the album as their sound was evolving. Decent tunes for sure and I wasn’t expecting them to be the hard drivers they are.

I ordered the vinyl, thinking I will just wait for it to arrive for a first listen. Glad to hear the reviews are positive.

Spotify is streaming it. Plus SiriusXM is doing a crapton too.
Reformed Baptist Blues is a banger.

These songs are amazing. That old school sound just brings me back. Montreal and Ouch are by far my favorites in there but that’s just splitting hairs as they are all gold.

I've heard three of those songs before. Probably still have them in mp3 format on an old disc somewhere. I had quite a bit of on released Hip songs back in the days when Napster was huge and being sued by Metallica.

Went down a rabbit hole and ended up listening to the live version of Highway Girl, which I remember catching on the radio back in the 90's - so good! And then I watched the performance they did back in 1995 on Saturday Night Live where they performed Grace, Too and Nautical Disaster. Puts to shame most live performances these days.
