I don't know if it's because it's so empty so the mic picks up individuals having conversations or if it's just the mic placements in this particular ballpark but I can hear way too much or the crowd. I know this happened in another game before and I suspect it might have also been their last series in Baltimore

It’s actually kinda fun.
Hear the banter between the fan bases, the odd heckle, the laughter after a funny comment.
Preferable to silence from an almost empty ballpark on a rainy evening.

Didn’t think there was anyway Merrifield would sniff a post season start, but now I don’t see how you can take him out. Espinal might be the bench guy now (assuming he’s healthy enough to play)

Good Berrios making an appearance right before post season could be big for his confidence.
He could be used in relief in the wildcard round and would surely see a start in the ALDS should we make it that far

The Rays lost so it's all but determined the Jays will be playing the Mariners. And with the Jays game all but over, and frankly, should be called at this point. The Jays will get the win and the magic number will be down to 1. Amazing how well the last week has worked out for the Jays.

That’s pretty lucky they got that one official and can move on.
I’ll be surprised if they play tomorrow. Game plan will probably be a double header Wednesday if the Mariners don’t lose one before then. Mariners play tonight and twice tomorrow, so a decent chance it’s a moot point anyway
