I’m not feeling particularly vitriolic against Serena today, but American commentator tears are the tastiest kind of tears.

What a time for the match of your life. So happy for Mona, that was an evisceration.

Chris Fowler - It's one of those days for the 23 time major champion.
Ah Chris, this is becoming a pattern in finals for the 23 time major champion.

The best part about Wimbledon trophy presentations is the lack of 15 minute long speeches by corporate sponsors. So pure and efficient.

I just hope ESPN doesn't play this as Serena beat herself because of the error count. Mona won because she got into Serena's head with a defensive performance for the ages. Serena had to go for more desperate shots because she couldn't get past the Great Wall of Halep.

What a match for Simona for her 2nd Grand Slam title. At the US Open let's hope Bianca is 100% would love to see what she can do healthy.

How come we never hear any stories about a women's champion enjoying some pasta served on the Wimbledon champion's plate?
edit: I guess you can only do it with the replica, you only get about 20 minutes with the plate before you have to hand it back.

The last set in yesterday's Fedal match was longer than the womens final, just unreal by Simona.

What else is new. Watching her get taken apart is pretty satisfying, but actually secondary to Halep winning. It's nice that she got a couple of slams after struggling so long on the bigger stage.

All right, Brayden Schnur is into the final in Winnipeg following his 6-2 7-5 win today and has now cracked the top 100 in the ATP rankings for the first time in his career.

I guess this is the alternate universe where Roger's backhand is better than the forehand.

Roger giving that set away with the forehand. Can't see a way back since Novak can only serve better.

Wow, Fed up 5-3 in the tie-breaker serving and drops four straight points. Didn't see that coming.

Wtf is Djokovic doing? Did the Monstars show up after that tiebreak and steal his tennis? These first couple of games in set 2 have looked like a bad warm up.
