So anyone entering this tournament this Thursday? $5,000 buy-in. Last year Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, and Huck Seed were the notable entrants.

I'm playing a satellite tonight to try and win a seat. Tonight's tournament is only a $550 buy-in and the top 10% tonight (and tomorrow night) get their buy-in bought for them. I think the grand prize on Thursday is $250,000 and will be taped by Sportsnet.

Well, it's actually "only" $50 for me. I won a $500 gift letter that I can put towards any CPT event in 2009 at the Calgary Flames Poker tournament. So I'm trying to turn this $50 into $250,000

If you really like your poker game, you can do the following:
Win the $65 satellite at noon. That will get you entry to the 7pm $550 satellite. Then you just have to win that one as well, and you will be entered into the Heads-Up main event.

Damn. Finished in 25th place. Definately not in the top 10%. Oh well. would've been a blast playing in the Heads up Tournament
