TJ Brodie also has 8 points in 11 games for Saginaw. Sounds like he is injured though as he hasn't played the last two games.

Nemisz and Brodie selected to play for Team Ontario in the ADT Canada Russia Challenge.

Nemisz will play in both games while Brodie will play in Game 1.

Have to love the start Chucko is off to. Hopefully he can keep it up, though without trying to sound negative, it is doubtful. But this is what we need to see from 1st rounders.

Anyone know the status of Brodie? Hope he is healthy for that game as I'd love to see him play.

Apparently he had a facial injury after taking a stick in the face. Here's the link:

Reg....what happened to the flaming ass/fart avatar? Some things should never be changed.

Wahl and Nemisz look pretty good so far (early days obviously). If Sutter's proposed trade with Burke to get the 17th pick back in exchange for the Nemisz pick and the Wahl pick had happened, I wonder who we would have picked?

Eberle, Tedenby or Gustafsson were the only forwards taken ahead of Nemisz.

Eberle is 4th in scoring in the dub.

Tedenby has scored bupka in SEL and has 4 pts in 6 games at Allsvenskan level (same level as Backlund).

tedenby

Gustafsson has been whiffing so far in the Allsvenskan

Would not have surprised me if Sutter had his eye on Eberle. Pretty slick kid.

Anyone know why Backlund has only played 8 games so far? Tried to figure this out on my own but came up with nothing.

He's had 5 points in 8 games now in what seems like weeks.

Doesn't make sense.

Ah but in the only stat that matters for JD Watt - how many people want to knock his head off now?

i think he is implying he wants to know how many people hate watt which would be a good measure of his agitator abilities.

In his first game he had 1g 1a ( 5-3 win against Czech Rep )

Brodie had 2 assists in his return to the lineup tonight. First game in a couple weeks. Now has 10 points in 12 games.

Brett Sutter +4
Carsen Germyn +2
Brett Palin +4
Cam Cunning +1

The only plus players on QC.

Good to see Sutter playing, what seems to be a good defensive game if +/- is any indication of that.

He's looking like he will be an NHL player.

I tell you if you come to the qc you will want to stab your eyes with the closest thing available.

This team is terrible and its not due to talent its due to coaching..
