Clearly it was a yield sign since they supposedly posted the same ad with other traffic signs. Besides, it makes perfect sense...fight antifa....so Yield!

WTF?? He probably got that from some insane QAnon website.
Here's the original CNN article that this video is trying to manipulate, from September of last year.

Klobuchar was withdrawn her name for VP. Wants Biden to select a woman of color.

Which, of course, means whoever is ultimately picked, it will be easily spun as a decision based primarily on skin colour and gender rather than qualifications, even if the VP candidate is highly qualified.
Why, oh why, do they have to keep scoring own goals.

I don't think people making those arguments would be voting blue anyway.

... we’re all smart enough to know that would happen anyway. Kind of a stretch to spin this into some “own goal” mistake.

A lot of the people who might have will listen, particularly when a prominent democrat has just declared that skin colour and gender should be the priority. They might have made the argument anyway, but now they have a nice clip of Klobuchar on MSNBC to convince people that they're right.
Just pick a woman of colour. Don't go on TV and pat yourself on the back for how progressive you are for doing so. And worse still, this doesn't even appear to be an attempt to win the election so much as a way for Klobuchar to save face given that she wasn't going to be the selection. So, great, more party politics worming its way into the strategy for the general election.
Just so frustrating to watch.

I think this is a bad take on your part. What even does the most qualified candidate mean when selecting a VP candidate? At this moment in time, the best ticket is the one that represents groups that have not been proportionally represented at any level of government. There is absolutely nothing wrong with picking a Black woman who those communities believe will speak for them.

Seriously? The most qualified candidate is the person who is best suited to becoming president in the case that the top of the ticket dies. It isn't a job you give out for symbolic reasons. Particularly where you have an older candidate, if the public doesn't think your VP pick is capable to do your job if you die, that can backfire spectacularly. Ask John McCain.

None of the people in contention are probably even in the top 1% of the most capable people of running the country. And none of the people running for the top of the ticket are either.
Yeah, they have to be more capable than Palin. But that just means being in the 50th percentile.
Picking someone who can represent the views and have the support of Black America and Women is the right thing to do right now. There are plenty of qualified people who can fill that role.

The democrats will fumble this one for sure. Gabbard will actually win republican and moderate votes. But watch the DNC pick Kamala Harris or an extreme leftist who wont move the needle.

Motives almost always factor in when a presidential candidate is picked. Usually to balance the appeal of the ticket.
Palin was picked as a gender balance for people disappointed in Hilary Clinton's defeat and a Tea Party element for those who thought McCain was too centrist.
Pence was picked to bring evangelist Christians to Trump.
Biden and Gore were picked because the presidential candidate lacked governance experience at the national level.
The main thing is to pick someone who is clean enough to not drag the ticket down (like a Palin). Honestly, there are numerous people qualified and finding one that fills in the other gaps and is also qualified shouldn't be an issue.

You guys are kind of missing the point. I don't have an issue with a strategic VP choice (although I don't think prioritizing a woman of colour should be the priority, as opposed to regional appeal, althoughmaybe Stacey Abrams provides both). The problem is going on TV and announcing that's what you're doing in a self-congratulatory gesture that is transparently a matter of saving face. You're handing the other side a free ad about how smug and out of touch you are. It's an unsaid reality that VP candidates are chosen for electoral math reasons, and the public tends not to love it when you make it really obvious that your pick was made to help you win, not help run the country. Same goes for campaign promises - "he'll say anything to win the election" is not a compliment.
As I say, this is sort of a double whammy, because I don't think Klobuchar did this to help Biden win, so much as to make herself look better to the base when she realized she wasn't going to be picked.
